In 1993, He Xuezhen—the founder of SOKANY—set out on her entrepreneurial path, drawing on her family's long history in small household appliance manufacturing. Inspired by that legacy, she made her way into the industry. That same year, she made her first trip to Yiwu, where she started her foreign trade business with nothing more than a booth the size of a single table.

When she first started out, He Xuezhen did it all—sales, procurement, accounting, and logistics—single-handedly. Her only vehicle was a two-wheeled handcart, which she often used to haul goods to the warehouse herself.

Back then, business was conducted entirely in cash, and foreign buyers took a real risk carrying large sums of money. But He Xuezhen's unwavering reliability and integrity earned her a standout reputation among international clients. They trusted her implicitly, often making her booth their first stop—handing over their cash without a second thought and building long-term partnerships rooted in mutual trust and respect.
